Snoop Dogg & Eminem to Bring Bored Apes NFT Live in MTV VMA Performance

Bored Apes Yacht Club, the best-selling NFT collection ever made, is going to be in the spotlight again this Sunday, as two proud owners of the Bored Apes NFTs, Snoop Dogg and Eminem, are getting ready to perform straight from the “Otherside.” This comes just two months after the rap duo released a BAYC-themed music video for “From The D 2 The LBC.”

Bored Apes Metaverse Game Is in ‘Phase 1’

Despite already creating a lot of hype, the Otherside game is not yet available. However, owners of the Otherdeed NFTs, which also serve as proof of land possession in the BAYC metaverse, are able to test out the Otherside first. The MMORPG-styled game is available exclusively to digital land owners, but the sales have already disrupted the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, as the gas fees went up in May with a massive $561 million sale. Ultimately, Yuga Labs apologized to the crypto community for “turning off the lights on Ethereum (ETH) for a while.”

Eminem & Snoop Are Loyal Bored Ape NFT Supporters

While the two iconic heavy hitters of Hip Hop culture haven’t been on stage together for over 10 years, they both are owners of Bored Apes Yacht Club NFTs. Snoop Dogg even got his alias Dr. Bombay from the Bored Ape he bought. Moreover, the California-born and raised rapper has made plans to open a Bored Apes NFT-themed restaurant in Los Angeles by the end of the year.

On the other hand, Eminem (real name Marshall Bruce Mathers) has started the year by purchasing his Bored Ape for 123.45 Ethereum (ETH), which converted to $462,000 at the time. His love for the digital primates can be seen in the music video released a few months back. Will the legendary Hip Hop duo surprise music & crypto lovers on Sunday’s MTV VMAs?
