Shiba Inu Founder Ryoshi Walks Away, Wiping His Twitter

The SHIB Army has been rocked by the shocking news that Ryoshi had suddenly wiped out his Twitter account and disappeared from the scene. The pseudonymous founder of the meme coin has seemingly deleted not only all of his tweets and photos, but also his blog posts on Medium.

A Mysterious One-Year Turnaround

In addition to Ryoshi’s sudden Twitter disappearance, the community was also blindsided by the two farewell messages posted on Medium. At the time of writing, this is the only trace of Ryoshi on any social media. It seems that Ryoshi’s decision to flee the community might not have been made spontaneously, as it comes exactly one year after his last message on social media.

Ryoshi made the bold move of deleting all of his Tweets, and replaced his profile picture with an illustration of Jetsun Milarepa, a famous Tibetan monk and philosopher. On the other hand, optimistic crypto enthusiasts believe that this may all simply be a publicity stunt to create hype for a future comeback.

Shiba Inu Community Reacts to Ryoshi’s Retirement

Shytoshi Kusama, the leading developer of Shiba Inu’s team, expressed his gratitude to the project’s founder, and marked the importance of Ryoshi’s influence to the overall growth of Shiba Inu over the years, writing: “Shib is Shib and we remain to grow far into the future following the path laid by our magnificent founder. I salute and thank you Ryoshi!”

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Price Barely Affected by the News

The shocking news has not yet had a significant impact on the meme coin’s market price, with Shiba Inu (SHIB) trading at $0.00001181 at the time of writing—just 0.6% less than it was an hour ago, and 1.3% less than 24 hours prior. Shiba Inu (SHIB) is slowly recouping the losses incurred by the Terra-induced crypto market crash a couple of weeks ago. With the recent mass burning of SHIB tokens and new additions being made to the team, it will be interesting to see if Shiba Inu (SHIB) can turn things around to undertake a bullish trend.
